TRUST
AND DECISION-MAKING
To
trust your impulses, you must trust yourself.
Trusting yourself means that you believe you are
basically good, basically life-seeking.
When
you trust that your intuitional impulses are life enhancing,
you'll pay attention to them.
They will make you aware of your talents, desires, and
even your life-path more surely than any psychotherapy or
career testing. Those
tools certainly have usefulness, but it's important to be
aware that you have inside you all the knowledge that will
lead you to what's best for yourself.
You just need to listen to that silent inner guidance
that most often makes itself known by a feeling.
When
you don't trust your impulses, you have cut yourself off from
a powerful decision-making tool.
When you do that, your sense of personal power slips
away because you become afraid to take action.
In
the face of numerous possibilities in life, we need
guidelines. Otherwise,
we would frequently be in a state of indecision.
Our impulses provide us with guidelines that lead us to
fulfill our own potentials to the greatest advantage.
